FAQs

Starting at the ASD Market Week March 2026 show, we have transitioned to an onsite space selection process for renewing booth space at all future shows. Here’s what you need to know:

Program Overview

ASD has launched a Loyalty Points Program to reward our valued long-term exhibitors, and ensure a fair, transparent system for onsite space selection.

How it works:

  • Points are calculated based on your historical participation and future show investments.
  • Your total points will determine your selection order* for exhibit space at ASD August 2026.

Earning Points – Base Program Structure

Revenue-Based Model:

  1. Total Spend:
    • 1 point for every $1,000 spent as an exhibitor at ASD Market Week since 2014 (space, sponsorships, advertising, etc.) – ie. $10,000 = 10 points
  2. Loyalty Leader Bonus:
    • 10 points for 15 consecutive shows
    • 5 points for 10 consecutive shows
    • 3 points for 5 consecutive shows
  3. Onsite Booking:
    • 2 points bonus for rebooking onsite

    *Competing Trade Show Space-Selection Priority Policy: Exhibitors participating in a qualifying competing Las Vegas trade show will be moved down 10 positions for the applicable ASD space-selection cycle. The adjustment is temporary and does not affect Loyalty Points. Read the full policy

    FAQs

    What is the Space Selection?

    Space Selection is ASD’s onsite exhibit space selection process for the March 2027 show. Exhibitors are scheduled for appointments based on their loyalty points to select and contract their booth space while onsite at the August 2026 show.

    Appointment times are assigned in descending order based on each exhibitor’s total loyalty points within each Neighborhood. Exhibitors with the highest point totals will be scheduled first.

    When will I be notified of my appointment time?

    What is the Competing Trade Show Space Selection Priority Policy?

    Competing Trade Show Space-Selection Priority Policy

    ASD Market Week’s Loyalty Points Program determines each exhibitor’s official space selection priority based on historical participation, investment and other published loyalty criteria. Participation in a qualifying competing trade show will not reduce or permanently alter an exhibitor’s underlying Loyalty Points. Instead, a temporary adjustment will be applied to the exhibitor’s position on the official space selection priority list.

    Qualifying Competing Trade Show

    A qualifying competing trade show is any event held in Las Vegas that:

    • Competes directly or indirectly with ASD Market Week for exhibitors, buyers, attendees, sponsors, or other commercial activity; and
    • Begins within 14 calendar days before the start of ASD Market Week or within 14 calendar days after the conclusion of ASD Market Week.

    ASD will determine, in its reasonable discretion, whether an event qualifies as a competing trade show under this policy.

    Space Selection Priority Adjustment

    An exhibitor participating in a qualifying competing trade show will have its space selection priority adjusted downward by 10 positions from its official position on the ASD priority list.

    The adjustment will apply to the ASD space selection process occurring during the same show cycle as the qualifying competing event. For example, participation in a qualifying competing event during the August 2026 show cycle will result in a 10-position downward adjustment during the onsite space selection process held at ASD August 2026 for ASD March 2027.

    For example, an exhibitor whose official priority position is #5 will be assigned adjusted priority position #15 for that space selection cycle.

    This adjustment applies only to the exhibitor’s selection position. It does not deduct Loyalty Points, erase historical participation or permanently change the exhibitor’s official underlying priority ranking.

    Definition of Participation

    For purposes of this policy, participation includes any direct or indirect commercial involvement in a qualifying competing trade show, including, without limitation:

    • Signing or entering into an exhibitor, sponsor, advertising or participation agreement;
    • Reserving, purchasing or receiving booth or event space;
    • Exhibiting, displaying, demonstrating, promoting or selling products or services;
    • Sponsoring the event or any related activity;
    • Participating through a parent company, subsidiary, affiliate, commonly controlled company, related brand or other associated entity;
    • Participating through a distributor, representative, agent or third party acting on the exhibitor’s behalf;
    • Being publicly listed, promoted or represented as an exhibitor, sponsor, partner or participant; or
    • Maintaining a commercial presence at the event, whether or not the exhibitor ultimately occupies its assigned booth or space.

    Participation may be established through contracts, event listings, floorplans, sponsorship materials, public announcements, websites, marketing materials or other reasonably reliable information.

    Review and Reinstatement

    The adjustment will be reviewed before each ASD space selection process, approximately every six months. If an exhibitor does not contract, sponsor, exhibit or otherwise participate in a qualifying competing trade show during the next applicable show cycle, the 10-position adjustment will be removed for the next ASD space selection process. The exhibitor will then return to its official priority position based on its underlying Loyalty Points and the priority list in effect at that time.

    Because the official priority list may change between show cycles due to exhibitor spending, loyalty activity, new participants, withdrawals or other program factors, reinstatement means returning to the exhibitor’s official calculated position for that cycle. It does not guarantee the same numerical position held during a prior cycle.

    Booth Location

    A priority position determines the order in which exhibitors may select from available booth locations. Neither an official nor an adjusted priority position guarantees a particular booth, hall, aisle or location.

    Verification and Enforcement

    Exhibitors may be required to confirm in writing whether they, their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates or related entities are participating in a qualifying competing trade show.

    If ASD determines that an exhibitor provided incomplete, inaccurate or misleading information regarding its participation, ASD may apply the 10-position adjustment and take any other action permitted under the exhibitor agreement or applicable ASD policies.

    ASD will apply this policy consistently to similarly situated exhibitors and reserves the right to interpret and administer the policy in good faith.
